Photoshop’s History

The very first version of Photoshop was written in 1988 by Tom Geissler and John Knoll at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). This article describes the uses of the Photoshop Elements image editor. You can use it to remove unwanted areas from an image, repair damage, re-size and apply effects. With Photoshop Elements, you can also take a photograph, shoot videos and shoot time-lapse movies.

Most of the tools in Photoshop Elements have a similar purpose to their equivalent in Photoshop, but you will use them differently. In this article, we go through the different functions in Photoshop Elements to understand how it works. If you have used Photoshop before, you should be able to navigate the menu options and figure out how the tools work.

Time Lapse Editing

When you shoot a time-lapse video, you need to take several consecutive photos of the same subject at intervals within a certain time. A time-lapse video allows you to make the most of your images in a row.

You can take a photo at a specific interval using the Time-Lapse tool. The Time-Lapse tool saves each of the images that it takes and then combines them. This process works best with images that are similar in color and lighting, so you get a smoother image when you see the video.

1. Open the photo you want to take a time-lapse photo of. On the File menu, select Time-Lapse Photo. A new window pops up.

2. Check the interval you want to take the photos at. An interval of 1 second takes a photo every 1 second.

3. When you are happy with the interval, you can click OK.

Creating a Time-Lapse Photo

Now that you have taken some time-lapse photos, you can edit them in Photoshop Elements to produce a video. You should be able to edit and merge photos using the Examine function in the Photomerge option under the File menu.

1. Open the images you want to combine by selecting them from the Photomerge menu. You can use the File Open dialog box to select them.

2. The first photo is the reference picture. You can use the play button to preview the reference photo. When you are happy with the picture, select it.

3. You then want to take the other pictures. Open the File menu, select Time-Lapse photo and select your interval. You will then get a new window, with the three images you selected and a time-lapse version of

The Denver Zoo is the oldest zoo in Colorado and the oldest in the United States; it was founded in 1871 by a group of private individuals. It is based in Denver, Colorado, and was the first public zoo outside of Chicago or London. The zoo is well known for its annual Thanksgiving dinner and Halloween event; the Thanksgiving dinner was originally a fundraiser to save the zoo from closing.

The zoo has seen a wide variety of animals over time, including bears, lions, leopards, monkeys, kangaroos, bears, zebu, gorillas, zebras, elephants, cheetahs, lions, dogs, peacocks, deer, bald eagles, otters, trumpeter swans, and penguins.

Q:

How to add a UIView in UITableViewCell

I am trying to add a UIView(imageView with rounded corner) to the center of my UITableViewCell.
I have tried using the delegate method to add the view but the delegate doesn’t get fired.
[self.tableview addSubview:obj.view];

Any idea why this is not getting fired?

A:

You can’t add views to the cell. The cell is just a container to show other content. It has views of its own.
Instead, you could assign the view to the contentView of the cell:
UIView * view = // whatever
UITableViewCell * cell = [self.tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:[NSIndexPath indexPathForRow:idx inSection:0]];
cell.contentView.backgroundColor = [UIColor yellowColor];
[cell.contentView addSubview:view];

A:

I think you need to use the cellForRowAtIndexPath method to get the cell. The tableView will then iterate through the cells and populate that particular cell.
You may already know this but when using UITableViews, you should be using only 1 tableview. not many tables.
EDIT:
Here’s a sample from one of my apps:
– (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath {
self.myCell = (MyCell *)[tableView dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier:@”Cell” forIndexPath:indexPath];

self.myCell.thumbnailView = [NSBundle.mainBundle objectForInfoDictionaryKey:@”MyThumbnailView”];

self.myCell.thumbnailImageView.image = self.myCell.thumbnailView.image;

if (self.myCell.thumbnailImageView.image == nil)
self.myCell.thumbnailImageView.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@”thumbnail.png”];

self.myCell.thumbnailView.hidden = NO;

return self.myCell;
